Growing International Linkages through ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Awards Fellowships
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide has been successful with three submissions from the latest round of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Awards Fellowships, which will promote collaboration with a number of international partners across India, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
aim to build networks of influence and leadership by strengthening partnerships between ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n organisations and partner organisations in the Indo-Pacific region, by providing short-term opportunities for in-ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ study, research and professional development activities. These Fellowships target senior and mid-career officials and professionals who are in a position to advance development outcomes in priority areas and increase the institutional capacity of partner countries through their leadership.
Two submissions led by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide’s were successful for the 2023/24 round of funding.
The ‘Toward Universal Health in the Philippines: Health Workforce Development in Evidence Synthesis’ will see the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ partner with De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute and The Center for Health Research and Movement Science at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Santo Tomas in the Philippines to design and deliver an academically robust and highly experiential training program for up to 12 mid-career academics and clinicians.
JBI will also be working with the Manbhum Ananda Ashram Nityananda Trust (MANT) and the Centre for Public Health Research (CPHR) on Implementing Evidence Based Health Interventions to Close the Gap in India.
, Associate Dean International, Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology will be leading a Fellowship involving a range of international partners, including the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of the Philippines Mindanao, Mindanao State ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, INTI International ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, Taylor’s ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Vellore Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and CEPT ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ on 'Academic Skills Development in a Digital World: A Capacity Development Program for Tertiary Educators, insights from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide's 2023-2018’.
