On June 14th a Credit Transfer Agreement was finalised between the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.
Malaysia is a key partner for the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide with a long-established history of collaboration. The Vice-Chancellor and President of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, Professor Peter Høj AC and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement), Dr Jessica Gallagher, participated in the virtual signing ceremony with UTP. Managed by the International Business Development team, this agreement formalises a 2+2 pathway into the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Chemistry) and a 2+2 pathway into our Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Petroleum), both in the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology.
Education has always been pivotal to the relationship between ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and Malaysia. The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s relationship with UTP is also a source of great pride: former UTP Pro Chancellor - Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin is an engineering graduate from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.
