The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide partners with Indian Institute of Eminence

On Tuesday 14 June, the Vice-Chancellor and President of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide,ÌýProfessor PeterÌýHøjÌýACÌýand Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ExternalÌýEngagement), DrÌýJessicaÌýGallagher, hosted a virtual signing ceremony withÌýOP Jindal Global ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ (JGU), India. Managed by the International Business Development team, this is the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s first credit-transfer agreement with one of India’s Institutes of Eminence, OP Jindal Global ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. The 2+2 Credit Transfer Agreement between the respective business schools signals the start of much broader collaboration across teaching and research.
This new agreement is symbolic of the developing relationship between the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and JGU, which is a stepping stone for a long and sustainable partnership between the two institutions, including further articulations and academic-to-academic collaborations.ÌýThis collaboration is further supported by the recently announced Free Trade Agreement between ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and India, which will help unlock the full potential of the education relationship between the two countries. India’s new National Education Policy also allows greater opportunity for international collaboration, including credit transfer partnerships.
