Lunar New Year Fair kicks off Year of the Ox
On Thursday 11 February, International Student Support hosted a Lunar New Year Fair on the Barr Smith Lawns of the North Terrace campus.Ìý
The Fair was a great occasion for international students stayingÌýin Adelaide for the holidays, enabling them to participateÌýin valued traditional celebrations.Ìý
Professor Jacqueline Lo, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) officiated the event, with festivities including a lion dance, traditional Chinese music and dance, a magic performance, a performance by Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Hip-Hop, and live music.Ìý
In addition to the performances, the Fair also included workshops such as calligraphy, flower crownÌýand lantern making. Attendees also enjoyed delicious authentic street food provided by both food trucks and student clubs.Ìý
