Indigenous Research

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide is committed to increasing the number of Indigenous researchers and research students.

While aiming to broaden our Indigenous research footprint, we start from a solid foundation of existing scholarship that assists us in improving our Indigenous-related research performance.

As a research-intensive institution engaged with the community, we seek to raise the profile of Indigenous research and researchers within the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and build upon that existing capacity.

With ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥-wide support, we will provide pathways for research students and early career researchers to help future generations of Indigenous ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns realise their ambitions to access and succeed in higher research and education.

These formative experiences helped me to realise that the Indigenous knowledge of the ecology and history of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and this continent is priceless. My fight for its recognition has fuelled my academic achievements.
