Urrbrae House Historic Precinct
The Urrbrae House Historic Precinct is situated on the land of the Kaurna Meyunna, the Kaurna People, the original custodians of the Adelaide Plains. We acknowledge and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and enduring relationship with the land.
In 1914 Peter Waite bequeathed the Urrbrae estate including his family home to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide. Today, the Urrbrae House Historic Precinct is part of the Waite Campus of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and is also an accredited museum by the History Trust of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. The Precinct promotes the history of the Waite Campus and is committed to community engagement. To learn more about the museum’s aims please see our Mission Statement.
