Google replacing current version of Analytics
Google has announced they will be replacing the current version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) with Google Analytics 4 (GA4). The aim of this change is to implement next-generation measurement standards. The Universal Analytics platform will discontinue data processing on 1 July 2023, and then likely become unavailable in early 2024.
Marketing and ITDS have been working with the areas which use the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ instance of Google Analytics. However, if you have a locally held licence, you will need to manage this process yourself to ensure that you continue to be able to evaluate/analyse your website user data, and to ensure you maintain as much historical data as you can.
