Hugo Population and Migration Studies Program

Nothing that population change and movement is a constant, three themes focus our research:

  • Demographic transition
  • Migration, diaspora, transnational linkages, and diversity
  • Climate (environmental) change and human mobility (migration, relocation, displacement)

This program seeks to advance knowledge and inform migration and social policy decision-making, practice, and public debate in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and other parts of the world (especially the Asia-Pacific region).
