Resources Discovery Experience
The Resources Discovery Experience is now open for South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n students in Year 11 or 12 in 2025.
The multiple day industry immersion program will provide students with a firsthand insight into a day-in-the-life in the resources sector, the opportunity to tour mine sites, chat 1-1 with industry professionals, and participate in hands-on STEM workshops with current students and university academic staff.
Eligibility criteria
In order for students to be eligible to participate in the Resources Discovery Experience, they must:
- Be undertaking Year 11 or 12 (SACE or IB) in South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ in 2025.
- Have a passion for STEM and an interest in pursuing a career in the mining and resources industry.

Date: TuesdayÌý22nd April - Thursday 24th April 2025
Location: ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, North Terrace Campus, Adelaide SA 5005 and off-site visits
Cost: Free
There is no cost associated with the Resources Discovery Experience, with meals provided on each of the three days. Students from regional South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ are encouraged to apply, with travel and accommodation grants available to cover all associated costs.
