Discovery projects’ wide-reaching impact

Fourteen grants totalling $7,269,318 have been awarded to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide researchers from the Federal Government to continue their work in a range of important areas including health, wine and food production, pollution and nuclear physics.

Researchers at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide have received a grant to focus on central ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n song lines. The project strengthens knowledge, understanding and application of the intricate tuning systems that underpin traditional Indigenous musical practices.

$6 million for university’s health investigators

Three ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide health researchers have been awarded National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Investigator Grants to support projects into premature babies, heart health and strokes, and high glucose and critical illness.

Future Fellowships grant supports drought research

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide has been awarded more than $3.6 million in industry-linked grants by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Research Council (ARC) for important research that will attract a further $1.8 million in support from industry. The research will have a positive impact on diverse areas such as defence, food production and protecting the environment.
