The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ are combining their strengths to create a new university for the future, Adelaide ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, opening in January 2026.

Information on this website is applicable for entry into the Exchange Program at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide in 2025.

Eligibility
To gain admission to our Exchange program you must:
- be an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework student nominated by your home institution that has an official exchange partnership agreementÌýin place with the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide
- have completed at least one year (or equivalent) of tertiary-level study prior to commencement in your Exchange program
- achieve a 2.5/4.0 minimum GPA
- meet theÌýEnglish language requirements
- meet any prerequisites shown for theÌýcourses you choose. You can find the prerequisites by clicking the title of the course in theÌýÌý±ô¾±²õ³Ù¾±²Ô²µ.

Study options
Exchange students can study undergraduate or postgraduate courses during Summer School, Winter School, semesters, trimesters or a combination of study periods.
For Semester 2, 2025 entry, we are only in a position to accept single semester length applications due to our merger with the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. Full year Exchange will not be possible.

Upon the completion of your program, an official digital ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide transcript will be issued to you. You can share this with yourÌýhome institution electronically.
Courses completed may be credited back to your home degree, but it is your responsibility to organise the credit transfer with your home institution

Fees
Exchange students remain enrolled with their home institution and continue to pay tuition fees to their home institution. Tuition fees at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide are waived.
While Exchange students do not incur tuition fees, they still have to pay for their living expenses and .
In addition, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Government occasionally offers scholarships to Exchange students. Please contact your home institution for more information.ÌýUnfortunately, there are no scholarships currently available to Exchange students managed by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.

Visa
Most Exchange students apply for a student visa. You must have received your Confirmation of Enrolment and OSHC before making a student visa application. For any visa enquiries please refer to the or contact your local ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Embassy.
To fulfil ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n student visa requirements, exchange students must be enrolled in at least 9 units (usually 3 courses) at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.
