Biography/ Background
I’m a researcher and lecturer having worked across anthropology and art history methods to research and write about contemporary art, translation, and the movement of people, cultures, objects, words, and ideas. My PhD in Art History and World Art Studies was obtained from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of East Anglia in the UK. I previously lectured in anthropology at the American ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Beirut and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Centre for Arab and Middle Eastern Studies on the project ‘Decolonization, the Disciplines, and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.’ My main research interests include the history of migration, multicultural identities, cross-cultural dialogue, and reciprocal exchanges.
