End of year closure period 2024/25
WCCC will close at 6pm on Friday 20th December 2024 and reopen at 9am on Monday 6th January 2025.
Waite Campus Childrens Centre is open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday.
TheÌýCentre provides an education and care service for children aged 3 months to school age including an integrated approved preschool program for eligible 4 year olds.
Regular permanent bookings are for a minimum of two full days up to full time.
Priority is given to all staff and students of the Waite Campus, including employees of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, CSIRO, SARDI, ACPFG, AWRI and other co-located organisations. Families from our local community and beyond also access our Service.
It is essential that you complete anÌýexpression of interestÌýas early as possible and maintain regular email contact with the Centre, at least every 3 months.
We have a strengths based approach to learning with a strong focus on outdoor learning and education for sustainability and provide a range of learning environments.
WCCC provides healthy snacks and food across the day. We follow the guidelines of Nutrition ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ to ensure children are introduced to healthy eating.

A small administration fee isÌýcharged on enrolment. Families using the Centre can apply for aÌýChild Care Subsidy (CCS)ÌýthroughÌý.
Preschool:ÌýAs part of the Commonwealth Government's Universal Access to preschool, Waite Campus Childrens Centre offers an integrated preschool program for children in the year before they commence school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 5pm during school terms.
