50 regional and remote schools embark on a mission to uncover new insect species

Fifty regional and remote schools across South �Ӱ�ֱ��, Queensland and Western �Ӱ�ֱ�� have been selected to take part in a new citizen science project, Insect Investigators, led by the South �Ӱ�ֱ��n Museum and supported by the �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide.

Insect expert Dr Erinn Fagan-Jeffries from the �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide’s School of Biological Sciences, has thrown her support behind a new mission launched by the �Ӱ�ֱ��n Academy of Science’s Taxonomy �Ӱ�ֱ��, to discover and document all unknown �Ӱ�ֱ��n species by 2050.

Four primary schools in regional South �Ӱ�ֱ�� have been involved in the discovery and naming of new species of wasp as part of a trial of a new citizen science project led by the �Ӱ�ֱ�� of Adelaide.
