Professor Helen Marshall AM wins NHMRC Elizabeth Blackburn Investigator Grant Award

听AM, NHMRC Leadership听Fellow and Professor in Vaccinology, Adelaide Medical School, was the highest ranked applicant for an Investigator Grant (Leadership) in the public health pillar for 2024.
In recognition of this achievement, Professor Marshall was awarded the 2024 NHMRC Elizabeth Blackburn Investigator Grant Award (Leadership in Public Health Research) at the NHMRC Research Excellence Awards dinner in Canberra on 26 March.
In recent years, Professor Marshall's research leadership has been recognised with significant awards.
In 2023, she was awarded SA Scientist of the Year; in 2022 SA 杏吧直播n of the Year and SA Woman of the Year; and in 2021 she was made a Fellow of the 杏吧直播n Academy Health and Medical Sciences and awarded Member of the Order of 杏吧直播 in 2022.
She was the recipient of the 杏吧直播 Day Council鈥檚 Inspiring South 杏吧直播n Women Award in 2020, and was awarded the South 杏吧直播 Science Award for Excellence in Research Collaboration in 2019.
Her research was included in the NHMRC 鈥10 of the best鈥 research projects for 2016.
