ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide will play a role in strengthening and diversifying South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s teaching profession with scholarships supporting some of the best and brightest students enrolled in teaching degrees.

The South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Government will deliver 400, $5,000 scholarships over the next four years in partnership with the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and Flinders ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.

The Enabling Educator Excellence (E3) scholarships are to help with the costs of starting a teaching degree. The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide will award scholarships in the following categories:

• High ATAR or GPA
• First Nations people
• Women in STEM

Professor Peter Høj AC, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide Vice-Chancellor and President, said: “The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide is proud to be preparing the next generation of great teachers to educate South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns for years to come.

“Our Bachelor of Teaching and Master of Teaching degrees equip graduates with the job-ready skills and content knowledge needed for secondary students to flourish.

“Quality teachers are vitally important to the future success of our state and any initiative that encourages more students to take up teaching should be applauded.�

Students commencing their study in the Bachelor of Teaching or Masters of Teaching degrees in 2023 have been invited to apply for scholarship support.

Eligible students planning to enrol between 2024 and 2026 are able to apply for a scholarship.
