Free public lecture: Mental health of young ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns

Who has responsibility for the mental health of young ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns?
That’s the question being posed at a free public online lecture by one of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s leading experts in the field of child and adolescent mental health.
Emeritus Professor Michael Sawyer (Adelaide School of Medicine, ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide) will deliver the 16th annual Healthy Development Adelaide (HDA) Oration.
His oration will describe what we know about the prevalence and nature of mental health problems experienced by young ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns during the last 20 years. It will also discuss several population-level interventions that have attempted to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems experienced by children and adolescents in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥.
Professor Sawyer will consider who has ultimate responsibility for helping the many children and adolescents in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ who are currently experiencing mental health problems.
