Water tanks: windows to southern sky’s soul

ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide researchers are part of an international team that aims to unlock the secrets of the universe above the southern hemisphere. The team is piloting a project that will use sensors installed in water tanks to detect the highest energy gamma rays from the universe. Prototype water tanks have been designed and built in South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and will be installed in Peru.

Biomedical engineer awarded for revolutionary imaging technology

Dr Jiawen Li has been awarded two prestigious fellowships in recognition of her world-class work in the field of biomedical engineering. Dr Li is a Lecturer in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, leading the intravascular imaging research program within the Institute of Photonics and Advanced Sensing (IPAS).
