Please note: The livestream link will be available on 24 May on the .

Where our food comes from is becoming an increasing concern for us all. Pioneering agri-tech companies using blockchain technology and/or other technologies help to address issues of food origin. We are a research team consisting of academics from both ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and Japan who are seeking to stimulate discussions on how and where blockchain technology can be further integrated into international supply chains.

We are planning a symposium to be held in Japan in May 2023 to enhance collaborations and engagements between ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n and Japanese consultants and scholars, as well as between ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n producers and Japanese consuming industries. Our aim is to demonstrate the higher value that ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n products can command, further enhancing trade and increase export opportunities for ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n producers in Japan. In this way, we believe we can increase Japanese consumer confidence in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n sourced food products and boost bilateral relationships between the two countries.

This event is organised and sponsored by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥-Japan society.
