The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Rover Challenge (ARCh) is back in 2023!Â
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, with support from our premier partner Boeing, major partners ispace, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Space Agency, and event supporters Defence SA, SASIC and Drone Deploy, are excited to host the 2023 ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Rover Challenge (ARCh).Â
The ARCh features ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n university students building, operating and competing their semi-autonomous rovers in a simulated lunar environment, accomplishing navigation, resource utilisation, and construction tasks while assisted and mentored by industry and government partners.Â
The rovers will attempt in-situ resource evaluation, perform semi-autonomous tasks and interact with the environment using a robotic arm. In addition to the physical challenge, students will present their rover designs to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Rover Challenge judges comprising industry professionals and academia.Â
Cheer on team ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, as they design and build a rover to compete in a full-scale simulated lunar mission.Â
Session times: Thursday 23, Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March, 10 am to 5 pm
