The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and Kaplan Higher Education have signed an agreement to offer a preferred pathway into the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, to be known as the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide College.

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide has signed a seven-year agreement with Kaplan to launch the College in Adelaide.

At the College, students will be able to undertake a range of academic programs with a pre-sessional English language program, providing them with the necessary foundation for studies at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, one of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s prestigious Group of Eight (Go8) universities.

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and Kaplan have shared a longstanding relationship, with Kaplan being awarded status as a preferred pathway provider in 2014. Under the new agreement, the Kaplan-run Bradford College in Adelaide will become known as ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide College.

"This agreement between the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and Kaplan is a further extension of our collaboration. It's an important strategic step in the provision of a quality higher education experience in South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥," says the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic), Professor Pascale Quester.

Students at the College will enjoy many of the same benefits offered to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide students, including access to student support and a range of other services, access to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ libraries and other on-campus facilities.

"The new provisions available to ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide College students will offer an improved student experience and a seamless transition between the two institutions," Professor Quester says.

"Additionally, the benefits of these arrangements include combined international marketing and recruitment efforts, ensuring that study at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide will be more widely available to a variety of students across the globe."

The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide College will continue to offer the Foundation Studies and Degree Transfer Programs previously offered by Bradford College, with College graduates progressing through to first and second years of undergraduate programs at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.

Professor Quester says: "We will continue to explore opportunities with Kaplan to add new programs to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide College, for the benefit of students."

The first intake into ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide College will be in October 2016.
