IPAS Research 2025 Showcase: A Vision for Collaboration and Impact

Piers Lincoln Presenting 2025 IPAS Showcase

On Friday, 14th March, the National Wine Centre buzzed with innovation as IPAS members gathered for the IPAS Research Showcase. This annual event served as a platform to celebrate groundbreaking research, foster collaboration and set the course for the future.

Interim Director Professor Mark Hutchinson opened the event by outlining a bold vision for IPAS, emphasising collaboration and real-world impact. With a renewed focus on advocacy, resource sharing, leadership, and innovation, IPAS is set to implement a new executive structure driving these priorities forward.

One of the event's highlights was the presentations by twenty research group leaders, each showcasing their top three projects for 2025. These presentations underscored the diversity and impact of IPAS’ transdisciplinary research landscape, spanning many fields such as physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering, biology, and medicine.
