IPAS at INGENUITY 2019
On 30-31 October, IPAS and the Faculty of Sciences proudly joined ECMS at INGENUITY 2019 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Along with more than 300Ìýinnovative projects, some of IPAS cutting-edge research and capabilities wereÌýon display including: the AMIGO, Miniprobes, High Temperature Sensing, Sapphire Clock, Advanced Manufacturing (including 3D metal printing and GLAS technology) and the Laser Radio. The Sciences/IPAS booth overflowedÌýwith amazed visitors, includingÌýhigh level university staff, key industry and government partners and crowds of excited high-school students. It was such a rewarding experience to see so many bright eyes and excited laughs from the audience through their interactive experiences with the IPAS team.ÌýWeÌýsuccessfully showcasedÌýthe impactÌýof studying STEM subjects which can turn into a diversity of career avenues as well as creating solutions to many real-world challenges. It was such a successful event and sincere thanksÌýgo to allÌýIPAS volunteers who tirelessly gave up their timeÌýto represent IPAS,ÌýinspiringÌýand showcasingÌýthe next generations to the exciting potential the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and IPAS can offer them inÌýbuilding their future.
