For almost 130 years, the Barr Smith Library has held a special position for learning, study support and quiet reflection. The needs of studentsare ever changing, and digital resources play a critical role in ensuring they can access the most relevant information.

The 2019Barr Smith Library appeal raised enough funds tosecure access to two new and invaluable collections– the Berliner Philharmoniker Digital Concert Hall andMigration to New Worlds. These collections will benefitstudents, like Master of Music student Andrew Groch, and researchers across numerous disciplines.

“It’s so exciting to be able to delve into the BerlinPhilharmonic’s Digital Concert Hall. The access to this, thanks to the kind contribution of donors, unlocks a world which is filled with the greatest musical minds of several generations. The opportunity for learning that this resourceoffers really cannot be overstated, nor can my thanks to the generosity of those who have madethis possible.”Andrew Groch, Master of Music (PerformanceStudies) student
