Warren Hicks with his dog Jack
Warren studied a Bachelor of Sciences at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide and, for a period, worked as a cadet in the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s Physiology Department, before going on to enjoy a successful career as chief chemist at an oil refinery.
Warren’s education provided him with opportunities, that he was determined to pass on to others.
“Graduating in the 1940s was a real turning point for me. I have paid all my debts in life, except one, and that’s to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, which gave me so much.â€Warren Hicks, alumnus and donor
Warren’s major gift to the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ will be invested in attracting and retaining the very best minds in research and teaching from across ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and around the world.
