We are thrilled to present at the , an ecological and conversational forum that addresses the most pressing challenges facing our planet.
The Planet Talks will take place at the Frome Park Pavilion in Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla from Saturday, 8 March, to Monday, 10 March 2025.
For over a decade, The Planet Talks has provided a vital platform for dialogue on environmental sustainability, uniting global thinkers, trailblazing activists, pioneering scientists, and visionary change-makers. This forum inspires action and meaningful conversation by offering fresh perspectives, practical solutions, and thought-provoking insights.
The Environment Institute (EI) is excited to present two talks on Sunday, 9 March, at the Frome Park Pavilion, contributing to this dynamic series that brings together compelling speakers to reflect, discuss, and inspire change.
1pm "Back from the Brink" with speakers , , and facilitated by EI Executive Director Professor
The earth faces its sixth mass extinction, with a million species at risk. This session explores rewilding in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, showcasing efforts to save species and restore life to our landscapes.
3pm "Adapt or Collapse?" with speakers Bhiamie Williamson, , and Facilitator julia lester.
Extreme weather events are intensifying with climate change. How can ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n communities adapt? Can we redesign cities to cope, and how far are we willing to go to protect our future?
