Professor Sarah Wheeler elected as fellow in the Academy of the Social Sciences




Environment Institute member joins 38Ìýleading economists, lawyers, psychologists, philosophers and other social scientists at the Academy.


The was established in 1971 to recognise and champion excellence in the social sciences and to provide evidence-based advice on a range of social policy issues. In November, the Academy announced the election of three, highly-qualified ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ academics on the basis of a sustained and internationally-distinguished contribution to their field. These are:










Ìýwho is Associate Director of Research with the (GFAR) and current President-elect for the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Agricultural and Resource Economics Society for 2020.Ìý Her research interests focus on issues with the environment, agriculture, natural resources, climate change, water markets, food and health.
