Top twelve finalists visit ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide for Planetfix Competition

Over summer, a group of climate action-orientated year 8 to 12Ìý students participated in a writing workshop held at the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide.


The school-aged students attended the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ to learn about the research our Environment Institute members are undertaking.

Students entered the competition answering "In 50 words or less, whatÌýyour best solution to climate change?".ÌýWith guidance from ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ staff and in-depth understanding, students had the opportunity to increase their original answer to 250 words.

Since this workshop, the top three finalists have been selected. They include:ÌýIris Fraser,ÌýJack Tibby andÌýSasha Saulwick.

We look forward to receiving their 670 word entry which will be edited by reporters at The Advertiser. The top entry will be appear in an upcoming edition.
