The Aboriginal Heritage Project is a collaborative effort between the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Centre for Ancient DNA and the . The project aims to construct a detailed picture of the history of Aboriginal ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥. Researchers have worked alongside local Aboriginal communities toÌýstudy hair clippings. The DNA within the hair gives a glimpse into life 50,000 years ago. The work presents a story of life through major cultural and environmental changes, up until the arrival of Europeans.
