The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide to host the Fourth International Consortium for the Barcode of Life
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide is hosting the Fourth International Consortium for the Barcode of Life.
The Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBOL) is proud to announce that the Fourth International Barcode of Life Conference will be hosted by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide, South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, in November 2011.
Congratulations are awarded to and the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide CBOL committee who put forward the proposal that resulted in the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide being selected out of 19 other applicants world wide to host the event. The Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBOL) is an international initiative devoted to developing DNA barcoding as a global standard for the identification of biological species. Previous conferences were held in Mexico City (2009), Taipei (2007) and London (2005). The conference is to be hosted by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide in conjunction with the South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Museum, the Adelaide Zoo, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The conference will be held from the 28th of November to the 4th of December 2011.
