End of year update from the Vice-Chancellor
As we come to the end of 2021, there is much on which to reflect as we prepare for a new year.

Meet South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s new Governor
This month we sat down with our new Governor, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC. Repeatedly ranked as one of South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥'s most influential people before her appointment, Ms Adamson was a member of the Champions of Change Coalition and ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s most senior diplomat. A ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide economics graduate, international diplomat, political counsellor and mother of four, she has had an illustrious career and is refreshingly humble when talking about her journey to Government House.
Perfect pitch: The restoration of two Elder Conservatorium icons
The Elder Conservatorium of Music serves as an important educational institution for budding South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n musicians, training and hoping to one day perform on the world stage. Elder Hall, situated on the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s North Terrace campus has a rich history and is home to two particularly iconic Steinway pianos.

ICAC response
On June 24, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ announced that we will make changes to our policies, processes, and culture as part of a series of measures to improve the handling of reports of sexual assault, sexual harassment and other inappropriate behaviour. These changes are outlined in an independent report – Towards a safer and more inclusive culture: ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide ICAC response.
