Professor Mervyn Paterson
A geophysicist who has led ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n research into rock mechanics, Professor Paterson invented theÌý'Paterson apparatus', a device designed to measure the strength and deformation of minerals and rocks when they are exposed to tectonic stresses and to temperatures as hot as 1,000°C.

Winery turns its hand to make sanitiser for local community

Angove Family Winemakers is testament to how businesses are helping the wider community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Riverland winery is making and donating hand sanitsers to the Renmark Medical Clinic, Hospital and Nursing Home.

Victoria Angove (Bachelor of Commerce, 1998) responded quickly after hearing the local medical clinic was struggling to get supplies.
