ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ Council Appointment

Alumna Emily Jenke graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Business in 1999 and has recently been elected as the graduate member of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide Council. She will serve a two-year term from 6 September 2020 to 5 September 2022.
Emily owns democracyCo, a proudly South ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n small business which specialises in complex community engagement, and has worked to guide governments in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ and internationally through complex political and highly charged environments.
Since 2016, she has been the Presiding Member of the SA Native Vegetation Council and a Murray Darling Basin Community Committee member. Additionally she has chaired and been a member of private, public and school boards and values collaboration and robust governance.
Emily lives on a family farm in Strathalbyn with her husband Paul and three teenage children where they produce olive oil. She feels that her unique expertise and experience will support the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide to navigate complexity, lead boldly and build critical stakeholder relationships into the future.
