About Dr Adele Feakes
Adele consults, educates, researches and lives veterinary business being passionate about entrepreneurial capability in veterinarians. She is part of the team involved in the exciting new Melbourne veterinary start-up “Tooronga Veterinary Hospital”. Adele’s publications and PhD address altruism and business confidence in business intention formation (in the context of the social purpose business model of veterinary practice). She is Adjunct Senior Lecturer-Entrepreneurship in the ECIC of the Adelaide Business School and part-time Senior Lecturer-Veterinary Practice Management at the Adelaide Veterinary School, while her veterinary career began in ER as a new grad then 24 years as a rural practice owner.
