Hospital admissions could be avoided: report

A new report released by the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide's shows that almost 9% of hospital admissions in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ should have been avoided, with highest rates among the oldest and most disadvantaged ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ns.

The Atlas of Avoidable Hospitalisations in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥: ambulatory care-sensitive conditions examines hospitalisations which should be able to be avoided with preventive care and early disease management.
